The Rules

» General «
1. Respect [and obey] the staff, other members, and even the site itself. No harassment, no stealing, no racist/homophobic/etc. comments.
2. What the staff say, goes.
3. Signatures may not exceed the size of 500 x 250. If your signature is bigger than this, it will be removed by one of the staff. If you happen to have a signature that is larger, that you would like to use, simply make a preview that fits the size limit and provide a link to the original image.
4. Limit the use of profanity, In Character and Out Of Character. It's degrading to yourself and the site. You don't need to be using profanity, and your character doesn't need to be using- every other word.

» In Character «
1. Vergiss runs in fluid time, so you may be in as many threads as you please- though it is highly recommended that you only be in 5 [maximum].
2. Posts must be 200 words or more. Remember CAT;; Character's Actions and Thoughts. Describe what they feel, what they're thinking, and the area surrounding them.
3. Please keep wolf-speak to a minimum. If you feel the need to stretch your vocabulary, use words that clearly mean what you're describing. ex; femme - French for female. We aren't French, we use English. Please don't use these words.
4. This is a stray dog roleplay. Wolves and Wolf Hybrids are allowed with specific permission from the Admin [me, Remy]. Wild Dogs are not allowed [African Wild Dogs, Dingos, etc.]
5. Powerplaying and Godmodding is not allowed here. If you do not know what that means, sorry- you are probably too inexperienced for this site.
6. The changing of the names or reordering the Character Joining Form is not permitted. Use the form that we provide, for it is set up for Vergiss. We are not any other site, and do not accept any other forms.
7. There is one pack, and Remy is the Alphess. Other packs/plots may come later- but that is the center of the site's overall plot.
8. Only one character is allowed per account. Please keep this in mind when creating more than two or three characters.
9. Fall and Spring last one month [real time], Summer and Winter last two and a half months [real time].

Fighting
1. Characters may fight over anything. Mates, rank/dominance, arguments, or simply just for pride.
2. Fights concerning Rank will be judged by the entire team of staff, but minor fights will be judged by one or two staff members.
3. Fights may break out anywhere, but before it gets into attacks/dodges, please contact a staff member with the link to the thread so that it may be judged.
4. When fighting, characters are enabled 3 attacks and 2 dodges [if the fight isn't concluded before that].
5. If you feel that the fight was judged unfairly, the entire staff team will look over the battle posts, and within a week will have the overall judgment of your appeal. If you do not like this verdict, well.. sorry- what the staff says, goes.

Breeding/Birthing
1. No graphic breeding or birthing. Both may occur anywhere IC on the forum.
2. Puppies may be played by anyone. You may post in Character Adoptions board [Out Of Character > General Chat > Character Adoptions] advertising it- or PM players who you think are fit to play them. Though, realistically, most puppies born in Vergiss would be incapable of surviving. Keep this in mind.
3. Forcebreeding may occur, and like regular breeding, it may occur anywhere on the forum. It is preferred by the staff [and the members, I'm sure] that before the forcebreeding occurs, that both players of the characters know that it is going to happen. This may occur anytime of the year, but the female will only become pregnant during the months of breeding.
4. Breeding occurs in Spring and Fall. Birthing occurs in Summer and Winter.
5. After Breeding, PM a staff member and they will post the status of the puppies. The stats are chosen at random. Do not request specific stats. They will be ignored.
